Frequently asked questions

How does mobile Physiotherapy work?

Mobile physiotherapy brings expert care directly to your home, offering the convenience and comfort of receiving treatment in your own space. I travel to you, bringing all the necessary equipment for your appointment, so there’s no need to worry about anything—just be sure to have a clear, safe area where we can work together.

Whether you're recovering from an injury, managing chronic pain, or simply prefer the comfort of home, mobile physiotherapy offers the same high-quality treatment you’d expect from a clinic, with the added benefit of personalised, one-on-one care in your own environment.

Do I need to be referred by a doctor?

No, you do not need a referral to see a physiotherapist. You can contact me directly to schedule an appointment. While your doctor may recommend physiotherapy for certain conditions, a referral is not necessary to begin treatment. If you're ever unsure whether physiotherapy is right for you, feel free to reach out, and I can guide you on the best course of action.

What do I need to wear?

For an effective assessment, it’s important that I can clearly see the area of your body that’s causing concern. Please wear light, comfortable clothing that allows for easy movement, along with appropriate underwear. I want you to feel comfortable throughout the session, and privacy will always be maintained during the assessment and treatment.

If you’re unsure about what to wear, feel free to reach out and I’ll guide you based on your specific needs.

What do I need to provide?

If you have any past investigation reports, medical letters, or test results, having these along can be very helpful in giving me a complete picture of your condition and guiding your treatment plan. However, please don’t worry if you don’t have these documents—it's not essential to begin treatment.

If you're unsure about what to bring, feel free to reach out and I can guide you on what's most useful.

How do I book a mobile physiotherapy appointment?

You can easily book an appointment by contacting me directly through my website, phone, or email. Once we’ve arranged a time, I will confirm the details, and you’ll be all set!

What if I need to cancel or reschedule an appointment?

Life happens! If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let me know as soon as possible. I request at least 24 hours' notice so I can adjust my schedule accordingly. Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a cancellation fee.
